HONG KONG, November 7, 2022 – Carlsberg launches three exclusive anniversary brews: Carlsberg Brut Beer, Carlsberg Wheat Lager, Carlsberg Barrel Aged Lager developed in Carlsberg Research Laboratory in celebration of Carlsberg’s 175th anniversary, Hong Kong has become one of the markets around the globe to sell the limited editions which would be available in convenience stores from November 23, 2022.

The Carlsberg Brut Beer features dominating and strong fermentation in Montrachet yeast with notes of yuzu, grapefruit notes in rose water; the Carlsberg Barrel Aged Lager indicates the 175 days of lagering in Danish whiskey barrels; and the Carlsberg Wheat Lager highlights the brewing of 100% wheat malt.

The anniversary brews mark 175 years of long tradition and a relentless effort in brewing. Carlsberg has become one of the most successful international breweries in the world and we continue the curiosity and quenchless thirst for progress.

The pioneering spirit has ever been a true inspiration for the brew masters. Our Carlsberg’s founder J. C. Jacobsen’s started from a small craft brewery in Valby, Copenhagen, to a big international beer company with the world’s first industrial research lab.
