HONG KONG - September 21, 2022 - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) is at the core of our business and everything we do! The Carlsberg’s DE&I agenda has never been only concealed within our workplace. To further share our love and care to those in need, the Carlsberg Hong Kong DE&I task force together with the Asia Regional Team joined hands in forming a volunteer team and organized a community outreach event on September 15 with Food Angel – a food rescue and food assistance program, who provides meals and food packs free of charge for those who are in need of food assistance in Hong Kong.

Dedicated half-day of their work time, the Volunteer Team brings along their positive energy with their loving hearts, where they gathered in one of the kitchens of Food Angel, to help prepare meal boxes for the underprivileged in the community.

During this event, the Team learnt about the operation and services of Food Angel, and the food waste issues in Hong Kong. The Team also participated in the process of ingredients preparation and prepared a total of 1,991 hot meal lunch boxes in just 75 minutes!
